Garlands of cheer...

Feeling blue because of the gloomy winter days...stormy, windy, grey and cold February? Add a shot of colour and make a bright garland out of paper, card, string and not forgetting colouring crayons.

I used a blank pattern book to colour in...then used a scrapbooking cutting tool to cut out.  I mounted my coloured shapes onto cereal box card then punched holes either sides of the circles to attached the string. I was going to machine stitch the shapes together but I think I would have broken the needle on my machine because the card is quite stiff. This works perfectly well also.

Don't be shy with the colours. Hope it fills you with cheer as you go along...

xx
